Before registering, please note the requirements on the ILTA CLTP application page:  An exam ONLY for a course may be taken twice during a 12-month period.  Failure to pass an exam after three attempts requires retaking the course.  The complete application is located on the ILTA Website at https://www.iowalandtitle.org/certified-land-title-professional/

Retakes are available only for persons that have previously taken an ILTA Course and not passed the exam.  Persons registered for exam retakes will be admitted to the conference room at the time the course exams are administered.  

Select the exam retake from the menu and DO NOT REGISTER FOR MORE THAN ONE EXAM RETAKE.  Exam retakes are 60 minutes for completion.
Pleae note, if you are currently registered for the Voluntary Alienation Course on Friday, April 10th, you will be provided with the course exam, and will not be provided with an alternative course exam on the same day.   

To ensure that the exam is available for retake, ensure that your registration is completed online and payment received by the due date of March 26, 2026.

Cancellation Policy: 

ILTA Course and Exam Retake Fees may be transferred to another person within the registrant’s company with notice given via email to the ILTA prior to the course or exam date.  Unpaid registration will be subject to a $25 late payment fee on the day following the event and additional late payment fees will be applied each month that the registration remains unpaid.  ILTA Course and Exam Retake Fees will be applied to a future course or exam retake for cancellations or no-shows in the event of an emergency.  Emergency is defined as hospitalization of registrant or their family member. Or, death of registrant’s co-worker or family member.  Weather, illness, work-related issues, or other factors are not considered emergencies unless special consideration is given by the ILTA Board of Directors.
